Indonesia uses two related payment instruments. A cheque (cek) is a standard cheque drawn on Rupiah accounts that can be cashed at the bank counter or deposited. A Bilyet Giro (BG) is a non-negotiable payment order: the issuer instructs the bank to transfer funds from their account to the named recipient's account on a specified date — unlike a cheque it cannot be cashed at the counter. Bilyet Giro are widely used for B2B trade payments in Indonesia, particularly for vendor payments where the issuer wants payment dated for the future and credited directly to the recipient's account. Both instruments are governed by Bank Indonesia regulations. ChequePro handles both, with the correct IDR currency, amount-in-words conventions, and standard layout.
